This ring has a 6-prong head set with one round brilliant natural ruby measuring approximately... 4.84 x 4.8 x 2.11 mm for an estimated weight determined by formula of 0.37 cts and grades SI2 in clarity and is medium-dark, moderately strong, purplish red. This ruby has a shallow cut and a very thick girdle. Rubies may be heat treated to improve its color and is stable. Rubies are rated excellent for everyday wear. Avoid prolonged exposure to heat and contact with chemicals. This bright-polished etched ring tapers from approximately 6.1-1.1 mm, weighs 1.5 grams and has a fairly good finish. All gem materials were graded to the extent the setting permits examination. |
