This piece is set with one hand-carved helmet shall cameo measuring approximately... 44 x 34 mm and is colored from a mottled cream color to a light brown color. This shell has a straight, irregular, fibrous structure and is carved into the profile of a lady with her hair pinned into trusses with a rose on her shoulder. The quality of carving is good. This pendant/brooch measures approximately 53 x 42 mm, weighs 18.2 grams and has a good finish. All gem materials were graded to the extent the setting permits examination. |
