This ring is bezel set round brilliant natural sapphire measuring approximately... 6.12 x 5.96 x 3.06 mm for an estimated weight determined by formula of 0.84 cts and grades SI in clarity and is medium-dark, very slightly grayish, slightly violetish blue. Sapphires may have been heat treated to improve color and is stable. Sapphires are rated excellent for everyday wear. Avoid exposure to prolonged heat and contact with chemicals. This bright-polished etched ring tapers from approximately 10-2.2 mm, weighs 4.5 grams and has a fairly good finish. All gem materials were graded to the extent the setting permits examination. NOTE: While the gemologist classified it as a lady's ring, the ring is a size 10 1/4 at this time and substantal enough for a gentleman's hand. |
